Apple Cider Vinegar is a dietary supplement containing apple cider vinegar with 20% polyphenols and 10% acetic acid. One capsule provides 500 mg of apple cider vinegar powder, equivalent to 20 g of liquid apple cider vinegar. This product is intended for individuals who cannot tolerate the strong taste and pungent smell of liquid apple cider vinegar during prolonged use, as well as for people struggling with weight issues, those with diabetes, or anyone looking to follow a detox regimen. It is also beneficial for those with low stomach acidity or constipation. Known since ancient civilizations, vinegar was used as early as Herodotus’ time to treat wounds, fever, stomach aches, and edema. Over time, apple cider vinegar has been used for various purposes, such as liver detoxification, immune system support, and cleansing of blood vessels and lymph nodes.
Apple cider vinegar is a 100% natural product obtained through the fermentation of apple juice. In the first phase, the sugars in the juice are transformed into alcohol through alcoholic fermentation, and in the second phase, the alcohol is converted into vinegar through acetic fermentation. The ingredient used in Zenyth’s Apple Cider Vinegar supplement is dual-standardized: 20% polyphenols and 10% acetic acid.
Acetic acid, the main component of apple cider vinegar, helps prevent metabolic syndrome, reduces obesity and insulin resistance, increases nitric oxide production, and supports digestive tract acidity. The polyphenols in the formula offer antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, and have cholesterol-lowering, blood sugar-lowering, blood pressure-lowering, antimicrobial, and antithrombotic effects. Pectin, a soluble fiber found in apple cider vinegar, stimulates bowel movements, enhances digestion, lowers blood cholesterol levels, improves the condition of blood vessels, and helps prevent atherosclerosis.
Apple cider vinegar activates digestion, reduces constipation, stimulates gastric juice secretion, and promotes the synthesis of digestive enzymes, enhancing waste elimination and fat breakdown. Apple cider vinegar encourages the growth of healthy gut flora and supports the liver’s function in neutralizing toxins. Thanks to the antimicrobial effect of pectin, apple cider vinegar is effective in cases of diarrhea and also helps restore the irritated mucous membrane of the colon. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a condition characterized by the backflow of stomach acid into the esophagus, causing heartburn, burping, and nausea. Acid reflux is often caused by low stomach acid levels. According to studies, consuming apple cider vinegar—due to its acetic acid content—may help prevent and alleviate symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux by increasing acid levels in the digestive tract.

Apple cider vinegar is used to maintain a normal body weight because it reduces lipogenesis by decreasing the activity of the protein involved in converting glucose into fatty acids in the liver. It also supports weight loss by boosting lipolysis and oxygen consumption (through increased myoglobin activity). Studies have shown that apple cider vinegar promotes satiety, which can lead to reduced food intake and weight loss. One study found that consuming 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar daily for 12 weeks resulted in nearly 4 kilograms of weight loss without any other changes to diet or lifestyle (Biosci Biotechnol Biochem. 2009 Aug; Vinegar intake reduces body weight, body fat mass, and serum triglyceride levels in obese Japanese subjects, Tomoo Kondo, Mikiya Kishi, Takashi Fushimi, Shinobu Ugajin, Takayuki Kaga).

Multiple studies have reported the beneficial anti-inflammatory, antitumor, antidiabetic, and antihypertensive effects of apple cider vinegar. Some reports mention that vinegar intake helps control blood glucose levels and has an inhibitory effect on alpha-glucosidase. Recent studies have shown that daily ingestion of apple cider vinegar is associated with reduced postprandial blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes, as well as lowered blood triglycerides in obese adults. According to research, consuming vinegar with a high-carbohydrate meal increases insulin sensitivity, lowers blood sugar levels, and increases feelings of satiety. A study published in Diabetes Care demonstrated that apple cider vinegar intake significantly improved insulin sensitivity by up to 34% in individuals with type 2 diabetes or insulin resistance (Diabetes Care, Jan. 2004, Vinegar improves insulin sensitivity to a high-carbohydrate meal in subjects with insulin resistance or type 2 diabetes, Carol S. Johnston, Cindy M. Kim, Amanda J. Buller).

High blood pressure is a major risk factor for heart disease. When blood pressure values are elevated, the heart has to work harder, which over time can weaken and damage the heart muscle. Apple cider vinegar helps improve blood pressure and supports heart health. A Japanese animal study showed that administering acetic acid to mice led to a reduction in blood pressure (Antihypertensive effects of acetic acid and vinegar on spontaneously hypertensive rats, S. Kondo, K. Tayama, Y. Tsukamoto, K. Ikeda, Y. Yamori). Another animal study had similar results, demonstrating that apple cider vinegar effectively blocked the action of a specific enzyme involved in raising blood pressure.
Cholesterol is a fat-like substance that can accumulate in arteries, causing them to narrow and harden. Taking apple cider vinegar supports heart health by helping to maintain low cholesterol levels. An Iranian animal study showed that supplementation with apple cider vinegar reduced LDL cholesterol and triglycerides while increasing beneficial HDL cholesterol levels. Due to its antioxidant and antibacterial properties, apple cider vinegar can also boost immunity by reducing mucus and clearing sinuses, making it useful during infections, colds, or the flu.
Apple Cider Vinegar is a food supplement.
